ReqIF Operations

Pre-requisites

1. easeRequirements version must be 4.12 or above.

2. Enable ReqIF for your instance. See How to enable ReqIF.

3. In case of restricted access, to use ReqIF export and import in easeRequirements, the user must have “ReqIF Export/Import“ permissions. See Managing User Permissions.

Bulk ReqIF Export

1. Go to Manage apps > ReqIF Operations in the easeRequirements section (or type “.” followed by “ReqIF” on any Jira page)

2. In the “Bulk ReqIF Export” input, select projects that you want to export.

3. Click Export.

The projects selected for export will be displayed in a table along with their export status. Once ReqIF file(s) have been generated, the following actions can be done additionally:

• View Statistics for ReqIF export of the project to see issues that were skipped, error, or successfully exported during the process.

• Download the ReqIF export file(s) of the project.

• View All Statistics for ReqIF export of all projects exported to see issues that were skipped, error, or successfully exported during the process.

• Download (.zip) in a zip file the ReqIF export file(s) of all projects.

• New Export to generate ReqIF export for other projects.

  • The previous generated ReqIF exports have an expiry of 8 hours. When a new export is executed, these files are automatically deleted.
