Problem

Storing data with a single quote character ' inside Jira as a first character of a text field will cause

Excel to hide this character
removing the character at an upload from Excel to Jira
showing differences at the Check Data operation.

Solution

Avoid using the single quote as a first character in Jira text field.

We can´t handle this behavior by the Excel Add-In due to high complexity and side-effects in the load/upload process.
