Welcome to the R4J - Requirements Management for JIRA documentation.

R4J is a native JIRA add-on and has been specifically developed to extend JIRA by the missing features of a professional enterprise grade requirements management solution. 

This guide describes how to use the R4J add-on. It provides step-by-step guidance to help you working with the add-on and its features.

Overview

R4J enables effortless requirements management right inside JIRA. 

Requirement management is a complex process but becomes much simpler and adaptive when accomplished using R4J. Whether your organisation is predominantly agile, following iterative or sequential methods, the aim of the effective requirements manager is to oversee the development process through to delivery and operation of the product to ensure that the baseline is what is delivered to the customer in a timely and cost effective manner.
