Overview

Once you have uploaded a template you can use it to generate exports in Word file format.

During the export the statements of the template are evaluated with a set of issues as input.

A word file is generated according to the language elements and can be downloaded after.

The set of issues that is used depends on the selection in the project tree. 

The selected item can be one of the following types and can be accessed from the selected template with the name stated in italic for each type:

  • the project root folder : selectedTreeFolder

  • a tree folder : selectedTreeFolder

  • an issue : selectedTreeIssue

In all cases the template is passed the selection information selectedProject for the JIRA project of the project tree display.

  • Switch to the tree view of the project for which you want to generate a new export

    • Select Requirements in the main navigation bar and select a project from Current Project or Recent Projects

The chosen template is checked for validity before the export starts and you will be given the option to cancel the export or continue if the template is invalid. If an error occurs during export, the generated export file will contain the error logs.
