Getting starting with easeRisk for Jira is easy:

  • As a Jira administrator, install the plugin - see Installation.

  • As a Jira user, you will find a new menu item in the Jira project sidebar called “easeRisk”.

    • CLOUD Note that easeRisk only supports Company-managed projects at the moment.

    • Select the “easeRisk“ menu item to show all the boards the selected project is associated to. If there are no boards associated, a dialog will appear which to prompt you to create a new risk board for the project.

    • After creating a risk board, you will be redirected to the Risk Register, which lists the project’s risks. (Note that until the Jira administrator configures the application to support your organization’s risk management process, all issues are considered to be “risks”, regardless of their type.)

    • Select “Add Risk” to create a new risk.

    • Select the “>” icon to show the measure issues associated with the risk issue. (Note that until the Jira administrator configures the application to support your organization’s risk management process, all issues linked to a “risk” are considered to be “measures”, regardless of their type or the link type.)

    • Select the “+” icon in the Actions column to add a new measure issue associated with a risk issue.
