Overview

This Excel add-in allows you to load Jira issues into an Excel spreadsheet, modify them offline, and upload the changes back to Jira. You can also create new issues offline and upload them to Jira. You can import issues from one project or from multiple projects into one worksheet, and, using . Using a Jira query, you can filter the issues to be imported.

The integration between Jira and Excel requires users to the following:

  • Users must install the Excel to Jira integration Add-In in their Excel clients.

  • The Jira administrator must provide an installation of easeRequirements, easeTest or easeOffice - see easeOffice Installation.

System Requirements

  • Office 2010 and above

  • .net Framework 4.6.1 or newer

Supported Protocols

  • TLS 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 network security protocols

  • HTTP and HTTPS

Limitations

  • Microsoft Office 365 online is not supported - Office 365 on your local Windows PC works without issues.

  • MAC OSX Office is not supported.

  • The value of the Resolution field of an unresolved issue is empty, following Jira’s practice.
