Overview

Quick filters allow great flexibility in narrowing down data to whatever is relevant to your current risk analysis. When configured, quick filters can be applied to the following views:

  • Risk Register

  • Risk Matrix

  • Risk Matrix Comparison

  • Top Risks

To manage quick filters for Risks Schemes:

  • Go to Jira navigation > Risks > Risk Schemes.

  • Select Edit for the desired scheme.

  • Select Quick Filters tab.

To manage quick filters for Risk Boards:

  • Go to

  • Select any board to load.

  • Select Configure > Quick Filters tab.

You need to be a board administrator to configure the quick filter.

Explanation

Name

The name of a quick filter.

JQL

The JQL query for filtering the board’s risk register and reports.

Action

Create a quick filter

  • Select Add Quick Filter and specify the quick filter options, as explained in the previous section.

  • Select Save.

Edit a quick filter

  • Select Edit in the entry for the quick filter and modify the quick filter options, as explained in the previous section.

  • Select Save.

Delete a quick filter

  • Select Delete in the entry for the matrix.

  • Select Delete in the confirmation dialog.

Default quick filters

Some simple quick filters are provided by default in a newly created Risk Board and may be modified or removed as desired.

Board Operations

Additional operations are available when managing quick filters for boards.

Purpose

Action

Use quick filters from projects' risk schemes

  • Quick filters from the risk schemes associated to the projects included in the selected board are displayed.

  • The origin of the quick filters is distinguished by the “Source“ column in the table.

  • Only quick filters with the “Current Board“ as source are inline editable.

  • All quick filters, regardless of source, may have their visibility toggled or reordered.

Enable or disable a quick filter

  • Use the toggle on the left most side of a quick filter entry to enable or disable it for the board.

Change the order of quick filters

  • Select a quick filter.

  • Drag and drop to desired position.
