We are glad to introduce REST API 2.0, which aims to provide a more complete and better structured REST API support for R4J.
If you have scripts running on REST API 1.0, you don't have to worry! We will not remove this version and support will continue until further notice.

Jira 7 support for R4J will stop from R4J version 4.6. The next major version, R4J 4.5, will be the last version to support Jira 7 compatibility.
This is in line with Atlassian Support’s EOL Policy.
